M.S. is hosting their first bracelet making workshop at the leather working studio in downtown Santa Barbara. Choose from three dates: Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 21st, 22nd and 23rd from 6 - 8pm. Sign up here!

2. Brief overview of leather types

3. In depth demonstration of a bracelet making

4. Then, you're set free to make as many bracelets as you can in an hour and a half, so there will be lots of creative crafting time.

Steven D. Soria of Make Smith Leather Co. will be teaching a leather working class at OTHERWILD. In one class session, we will pick through a ton of scraps, cut a bracelet from cow-hide, size it to fit your wrist, decorate and finish the edges, then attach an enclosure. Each person will leave with a finished bracelet of their own design, working knowledge and a list of tools necessary to make a leather bracelet.

Premium wax-tanned bridle leather (Saddle Tan) or oil-tanned latigo leather (all other colors). Bridle leather and latigo leather are traditionally used in saddlery due to their strength and durability. This leather can take a beating and still last for years.
